Karlsruhe

• ⭐ Tostino
  • Very good coffee
  • The Alter Schlachthof area has an incredibly cool vibe with lots of small businesses and Tostino fits right in
  • About a 10-15min bike ride from the central station, which is "somewhat far" for Karlsruhe-standards, but considering that most other cities aren't a match for Karlsruhe in this regard it is still very easily reachable

Freiburg

• ⭐ café hinterzimmer
  • The most cozy, vibey coffee place I could imagine. I adore tiny courtyard-type spaces with lots of plants and non-obvious layouts and this is that taken to another level
  • Coffee was great, and the vegan brownie I had was just amazing
  • 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Vienna

• ⭐ The Good Coffee Society - Mariahilf

  • Amazing coffee, great vegan options, and the cherry cheesecake I had was just incredible

Bern

• beans & nuts .:

  • Awesome coffee, vegan waffles were incredible
  • Somewhat far from the train station, but definitely worth the walk (~15 min)

• Lumis Kaffeebar:

  • Good coffee, vegan options including cake, super nice and calm atmosphere
  • Close to the train station (~5 min walk from station entrance)
  • Not a coworking space itself, but there is one in the same building
  • 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Lausanne

• Sleepy Bear:
  • Good coffee, vegan options
  • Close to the train station (~3 min walk from station entrance)

Zürich

• NUDE CAFÉ & BAR
  • Directly at the Limmat
  • Somewhat far from the train station, but walking there either along the banks of the Limmat or via the Lettenviadukt is quite nice

Ulm

• Café Fred:
  • Very cozy vibe, good coffee, home-made iced tea which was very good

Heidelberg

• Sternweiler
  • Cozy café, good coffee, good cake and located near the Bismarckplatz

General options

• Coffee Fellows is a good and consistent option in and around train stations, but by going there you might however miss out on some really nice local cafés you could've went to instead. Cappuccino is good, oat milk is available, they have a few vegetarian food options and cake (probably not vegan tho) exists as well
